Análisis de la investigación sobre turismo cinegético en revistas científicas

Abstract

Turismo cinegético es una de las principales actividades del sector primario, que además, influye positívamente en las áreas más deprimidas del ámbito rural. En muchas zonas, esta tipología de turismo se considera como un complemento económico de gran valor por su posibilidad de generar puestos de trabajo y riqueza en diferentes sectores relacionados con la caza. En lo referente a la investigación es un tema novedoso y muy importante desde el punto de vista científico y práctico, escasamente estudiado por la comunidad científica europea y aún menos por la nacional. El objetivo de este artículo es observar el actual estado de la investigación sobre este tema. Con este proposito se realizó un estudio bibliométrico de los artículos cinetíficos indexados en las bases de datos SCOPUS y Econlit utilizando como las palabra claves de busqueda “hunting tourism” y “game tourism”. Como resultado se identificaron las revistas más importantes a nivel mundial en las que se publican los artículos relacionados con el turismo cinegético y las zonas del planeta donde este tipo de turismo está desarrollado y se ha estudiado desde el punto de vista científico.

ABSTRACT: Hunting tourism is one of the most important activities of the primary sector, and it affects very significantly the most depressed areas. In many regions it is considered to be an economic complement of extraordinary value and wealth-generating and jobscreating activity in different sectors related to the hunting. It is a rather novel topic for scientific researches, and very relevant from the scientific and practical point of view as well due to the fact that very few researches have been carried out on hunting tourism on the European and even less on the national level. The aim of this article is to find out an actual situation of written articles and studies on this kind of tourism. To achieve this aim, a bibliometric study of the articles published in journals indexed in the bibliographic database SCOPUS and Econlit was carried out, performing an advanced search of the terms related to hunting tourism or game tourism. As a result, the most important journals publishing articles related to hunting tourism and the most important on the world level geographical hunting areas where hunting tourism is developed and is studied from the scientific point of view have been identified.
