Abstract: | Los latinoamericanos no son buenos salvajes, sino que ellos se apropian creativamente de los aportes de las culturas occidentales para crear una nueva cultura. Dos ejemplos indudables de ese proceso son las obras de Jorge Luis Borges y Octavio Paz, quienes enfatizan la especificidad de la producción cultural latinoamericana. Latin Americans are not good savages, but they creatively appropriate the contributions of Western cultures to create a new culture. Two undoubted examples of this process are the works of Jorge Luis Borges and Octavio Paz, who emphasize the specificity of Latin American cultural production. |
