The results indicate that the individuals analyzed are mostly oriented towards the task, finding a greater orientation to the ego in men than in wo- men. The analyzed subjects who practice the modality of individual sports with contact are the ones that obtain the highest results in the ego climate. The study reveals the importance of working self-determined motivation in athletes, as a means to focus on effort and personal improvement.
