La presencia de Silvina Ocampo en la revista Sur. Dibujos, creaciones y traducciones entre la transgresión y la tendencia

Abstract

La revista Sur , editada en Buenos Aires y cread a por Victoria Ocampo, fue un espacio de difusión no solo literaria sino cultural de primer orden en el mundo hispánico durante el siglo XX. En ella colaboraron los más grandes escritores argentinos del momento y al mismo tiempo se publicaban cuentos, frag mentos, poemas, ensayos o comentarios de los más célebres artistas del siglo sin importar su procedencia, ya que fueron frecuentes las intervenciones de autores americanos o europeos. En la revista Sur , se forjaron y difundieron corrientes de tintes irraci onales y la mejor literatura fantástica y de ficción escrita hasta la fecha. Además, la participación de Silvina Ocampo en ella junto a la de su círculo literario más próximo , como Adolfo Bioy Casares o Jorge Luis Borges determinó muchos de los rasgos que asumió o manipuló Ocampo en su narrativa, especialmente en todas sus colecciones de cuentos. Asimismo, se analizarán en este estudio las corrientes estéticas y políticas difundidas en esta publicación, la adherencia de Silvina Ocampo a estas y el total de intervenciones, comentarios a su obra o publicaciones inéditas que se publicaron en la revista fundada por su hermana en 1931.

The magazine Sur , published in Buenos Aires and created b y Victoria Ocampo, was a space of diffusion of not only lite rature but also culture of the first level inthe Hispanic world during the 20th century. In it , the greatest Argentine writers of the time collaborated and at the same time with stories, fragments , poems, essays or commentaries of the most celebrated artists of the century , which were published, regardless of their origin, since the interventions of American or European authors were frequent. In the magazine Sur, irrational dyes and the best fantas y and fiction written to date were forged and disseminated. In addition, the participation of Silvina Ocampo in it , along with her closest literary circle, like Adolfo Bioy Casar es or Jorge Luis Borges, determined many of the features assumed or manipulate d by Ocampo in her narrative, especially in all her short stories collections. Likewise, the aesthetic and political tendencies disseminated in this publication will be analyzed in this study, as well as Silvina Ocampo's adherence to these and the total of her interventions, comments to her work or unpublished works that were published in the magazine founded by her sister in 1931.
