Fomentando la interacción escuela-museo a través del arte

Abstract

¿Cómo podemos hacer que los museos sean más accesibles a la ciudadanía en general y a la escuela en particular? Este proyecto parte de la idea de que museo y escuela deben trabajar de forma conjunta, proyectando sus objetivos hacia una misma dirección. El museo debe estar informado de los intereses y necesidades de sus visitantes, sobre todo en las edades de los 6 a los 12 años, cuando es quizás más difícil captar la atención del visitante y que este disfrute a la vez que aprende. Por eso se considera imprescindible el estudio de público y saber cuáles son los intereses de nuestros visitantes. Por otro lado, la escuela debe estar abierta a una colaboración más estrecha, trabajando la coordinación museo-escuela para sacar el máximo partido a los alumnos, antes, durante y después de la visita. Para ello, como instrumento principal de esta investigación, se trabaja con cuestionarios de preguntas abiertas y cerradas, de donde se extraen unas conclusiones finales, en las que se puede apreciar que, efectivamente, no existe la suficiente unión entre ambas entidades, aunque sí se aprecia interés, sobre todo por parte de la escuela, en trabajar de manera conjunta, proyectando las actividades en una misma dirección y trabajando los mismos objetivos.

How can we make museums more accessible to the citizenship in general and to the school in particular? This project is based on the idea that museums and schools should work together, projecting their objectives towards the same direction. The museum must be informed of the interests and needs of their visitors, especially in the ages from 6 to 12 years, when it is perhaps more difficult to capture the visitors attention and their enjoyment while learning. That is why it is considered essential to study the public and to know which the interests of our visitors are. On the other hand, the school must be open to a closer collaboration, working the museum- school coordination to get the most out of the students, before, during and after the visit. For it, as the main instrument of this research, it works with questionnaires of open and closed questions, from which are extract some final conclusions, in which we can appreciate that, effectively, there is not enough union among both entities, although it does appreciates interest, especially from the school part, in working together, projecting the activities to the same direction.
