Algunas refexiones sobre las prácticas queer en Pindorama

Abstract

En este texto se busca problematizar los límites y la potencia de las prácticas discursivas y materiales queer en territorio tropical. El término queer en inglés hace referencia a una teoría que surge en el Norte global y llega a la periferia en forma de fantasma colonial. ¿Es posible discutir sobre prácticas queer en los trópicos? ¿De qué manera se inscribe lo queer en Pindorama? ¿Qué formas y colores adquiere? ¿Qué genealogías-otras pueden ser narradas? Estas prácticas operan sobre realidades locales, generando fisuras en las rígidas estructuras, que organizan la sociedad brasileña, y posibilitando otros cuerpos y sexualidades, que disiden de la norma colonial.

Abstrat: This text is an attempt to problematize the limits and power of queer material and discursive practices in tropical land. The term “queer” in English makes a reference to a theory, which arises at the global north and arrives to the periphery of the world as a colonial ghost. Can we discuss about the queer practices at the tropical land? How do queer practices embody in Pindorama? What kind of shapes and colours does it register? What othergenealogies can be narrated? These practices act on local realities, breaking the rigid structures, that organize the Brazilian society and enabling other bodies and sexualities, which dissent to the colonialist normative.
