Otra investigación es posible, una red para tejer sueños

Abstract

La red "Otra investigación es posible" surge en 2007 y se concreta en dos encuentros celebrados en las instalaciones del CENEAM en Valsaín (Segovia). En las ediciones de 2007 y 2008 se definen las características de la red, que pretende potenciar la investigación participativa y de transformación social. En este artículo se describe el comienzo de esa iniciativa, su desarrollo y las decisiones tomadas para impulsar una red que no ha llegado a cristalizar del modo en que fue definida, pero que pretende reavivar un tipo de investigación más democrático y más comprometido.

The network "Otra investigación es posible" was founded in 2007. The network held two meetings on the premises of CENEAM (Valsaín, Segovia). The meetings of 2007 and 2008 are used to define the characteristics of the network, which aims to promote participatory research and social transformation. This paper describes the beginning of the initiative, its development and the decisions taken to encourage a network which has not materialized the way it was defined. However, the network hopes to revive a type of research more democratic, more participatory, with a persistent wish for social transformation.
