El papel de las tic en el rol del docente: una aproximación holística, identitaria y generacional

Abstract

A raíz del estudio de las TIC en Educación (Legarda) y el estudio de la Cultura Visual en la identidad de las docentes (De Juan) nace esta aproximación holística, identitaria y generacional del papel determinante que juegan las TIC en el rol de la docencia. Desde la revisión teórica se analiza el nuevo contexto educacional en la Sociedad Web, con especial hincapié en la problemática de la Brecha Digital y la potencialidad de las TIC para hacer frente a los retos y pronósticos para este siglo XXI, donde la Escuela como institución va a mutar. El análisis profundiza en las características visuales de la tecnología y en su efecto en la Sociedad de la Cultura Visual en la conformación de identidades.

After studying the role of the ICT in Education (Legarda) and the Visual Culture in the identity of the teachers (De Juan), this article approaches both issues from a holistic, identity related and generational perspective. From the theoretical review, the new educational context is analyzed, the Web Society, focusing on the Digital Gap and the potential of the ICT to deal with the challenges of the 21st century, where the School as an institution will change. The analysis deepens in the visual characteristics of the technology and in it’s effect on the identity formation in the Visual Culture Society.
