Las palmas en el flamenco

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objeto de estudio la utilización de las palmas como recurso para el acompañamiento de los cantes flamencos. Con la intención de determinar posibles precedentes, hemos indagado sobre su empleo en otras culturas y géneros musicales. Partiendo del análisis de los compases flamencos y su representación gráfica, trascribimos las fórmulas rítmicas de palmas más características de cada palo o estilo.

In this research is studied the use of clapping as a resource to the accompaniment of the flamenco singing. With the intention of determining possible precedents, we have investigated his employment in other cultures and musical genres . On the basis of the analysis of the flamenco bars and its representation graphics, tran scripts the rhythmical formulas of clapping most characteristic of each palo or style.
