La patria como tema y sus variaciones en tres poemarios representativos de Lucía Muñoz Maceo

Abstract

La patria es una de las constantes temáticas dentro de la lírica femenina en Cuba, y específicamente, dentro de la poesía de Lucía Muñoz Maceo. El presente artículo tiene el propósito de analizar las variaciones dentro de la patria como tema en tres poemarios representativos de Lucía Muñoz Maceo. Con ese fin será empleado el método de análisis de contenido que nos permitirá alcanzar una visión más profunda del texto a través del empleo de técnicas para el análisis temático. Este estudio establecerá, entre otros elementos, la primacía metafórica de los colores, animales y objetos dentro de su poesía; un avance notable en la manera de realizar la crítica social; y la determinación de motivos sistemáticos tales a la naturaleza, la ciudad y la familia que reafirman a la insularidad como una forma de continuidad entre su obra poética y la tradición lírica femenina en Cuba.

Country is one of the constant themes in the female lyric in Cuba and, specifically, within the poetry of Lucia Muñoz Maceo. The present article analyze the variations within the theme of country in three representative books of poems of this woman writer. For this purpose it will be used the content analysis method that will achieve a more profound vision of the text through the use of thematic analysis techniques. The study shall establish, among another elements, the metaphoric predominance of colors, animals and objects within his poetry; a remarkable progress in the way to accomplish social criticism; and the determination of systematic motives such the nature, the city and the family that they reaffirm to the insularity like a form of continuity among his poetical work and the lyrical feminine tradition in Cuba.
