Abstract

Un análisis retrospectivo del toque por tarantas a través de la discografía, tomando como punto de partida las grabaciones ya míticas de Ramón Montoya y observando cómo ha ido evolucionando hasta la actualidad.

The taranta, womb of the “cantes mineros” (miner songs), arises as flamenco style differentiated in the first years of the 20th century. We analyze how it was in his beginning and the different modalities that were recorded, some of which continue performing nowadays.
