Las leyes y el flamenco

Abstract

La época histórica del nacimiento del flamenco, su localización geográfica y el trasfondo socio-cultural de su origen son cuestiones vagamente intuidas por la doctrina, dado que los testimonios escritos u orales que nos han llegado de los siglos XVIII y XIX revelan la existencia de un pasado luengo y, a nuestro juicio, deliberadamente oculto. Estas hipótesis al formularse casi exclusivamente a partir de las entrevistas realizadas a cantaores flamencos, quedan planteadas desde una perspectiva empírica y cuantitativa que contiene escasas reflexiones históricas, antropológicas y musicológicas. Por ello, la propuesta que planteamos desde nuestro trabajo es una aproximación integrada al flamenco. Un análisis multidisciplinar que ofrezca una visión más completa y profunda a cerca de la formación y el desarrollo de este arte, atendiendo a los avatares socio-jurídicos de las gentes que lo interpretaban.

The historical period in which the Flamenco was bor n, his geographic location and the cultural context of his origin are uncertai n questions to the doctrine, because the testimonies written or oral of the XVIII and XIX ce nturies that have arrived to us reveal the existence of an unknown and knowingly past. The se hypotheses, which have been formulated almost exclusively from the interviews r ealised to flamencos singers, have been elaborated from an empirical and quantitative perspective that contains scarce historical reflections, or anthropological and musi cological ones. Thus, the proposal presented from our work is an in tegrated approximation to the Flamenco. A multidisciplinary analysis that offers a more complete and deep vision and about the formation and the development of this art , attending to the juridical and social avatars of the people by who it was interpreted.
