dc.description.abstract | The objective of this work was to evaluate the crop and capacity of suppression of the spontaneous plants for the green manures. The experiment was carried out in Gleba Triângulo, Dois Irmãos Farm in Tangará da Serra-MT, Brazil, with experimental blocks at random, in split plot, with four replicates. The portions formed an area of 24 m² (8 x 3 m) where was applied the green manure and the split plot an area of 12 m² (4 x 3 m) with management techniques of green manures biomass. The treatment applied was design 5 x 2, being fi ve green manures species/mix [black velvet bean (Stizolobium aterrinum), pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan), millet (Pennisetum americanum), black velvet bean and millet, pigeon pea and millet] and two techniques of biomass management (cut and incorporation of the biomass in the soil and cut without incorporation in the soil). The high productivity of dry material of biomass was observed in the single millet cultivation and mixed with the pigeon pea. The residues of black velvet bean on the surface presented the greatest potential for the suppression of spontaneous plants. | es |
