Crónica del Coronavirus en España: la variante Ómicron, el pasaporte Covid, y una sexta ola de contagios y vacunaciones sin fin

Abstract

La crisis del Coronavirus parecía que llegaba a su fin. Pero un final simplemente oficial, ante una realidad pandémica que se quedaba entre nosotros por mucho tiempo, real y simbólicamente. Comenzaba una nueva Crónica del Coronavirus en nuestro país, ante vacunaciones continuas, nuevas variantes y restricciones a diestro y siniestro. Todo el mundo deseaba el desenlace, adaptándose o sobreviviendo material y mentalmente; pero la aparición de una nueva variante, llamada Ómicron, elevaba otra vez el riesgo y extendía el miedo, llamando Estados y medios a vacunar obligatoriamente, a controles en Navidad, a terceras dosis, a vacunaciones de niños y a polémicas incesantes. Comenzaba otra etapa de adaptación a la enfermedad y al poder: la gestión ante una pandemia que ya era parte de nuestra Historia.

A new chronicle of the Coronavirus was beginning in our country, in the face of continuous vaccinations, new variants and restrictions left and right. Everyone wanted the outcome, adapting or surviving materially and mentally; But the appearance of a new variant, called Ómicron, once again raised the risk and spread the fear, calling States and media to vaccinate obligatorily, to controls at Christmas, to third doses, to vaccinations of children and to incessant controversies. Another stage of adaptation to the disease and to power was beginning: the management of a pandemic that was already part of our History.
