Argot juvenil : el lenguaje de la generación Z.

Abstract

En este proyecto de investigación trata de conocer si existe una brecha lingüística entre los integrantes de la generación Z del IES Dr. Pedro Guillén y sus progenitores, pertenecientes a generaciones pasadas. Para ello se han estudiado las diferentes generaciones y realizado un estudio diacrónico y sincrónico del léxico español para analizar su evolución. Tras esto se ha realizado un glosario de términos usados por la generación Z, estudiando su significado, la procedencia etimológica de dichos términos y la forma en la que se han incorporado al español. Para determinar la existencia de la brecha lingüística se ha confeccionado una encuesta con términos de dicha generación. Para alcanzar el objetivo propuesto, se han analizado las distintas respuestas obtenidas de las encuestas realizadas a padres de los alumnos del IES Dr. Pedro Guillén. Por último, tras el análisis de los resultados obtenidos, se han podido relacionar en las conclusiones estos resultados con los objetivos que se habían propuesto. En conclusión, este proyecto de investigación se ha realizado mediante una investigación mixta, combinando elementos cuantitativos (encuesta) y cualitativos (estudio del léxico, creación del glosario…).

Abstract: In this research project, we aim to determine whether there is a linguistic gap between members of Generation Z at IES Dr. Pedro Guillén and their parents, who belong to past generations. To achieve this, we have studied different generations and conducted a diachronic and synchronic study of the Spanish lexicon to analyze its evolution. Following this, we compiled a glossary of terms used by Generation Z, examining their meanings, etymological origins, and how these terms have been incorporated into Spanish. To ascertain the existence of the linguistic gap, we designed a survey using terms specific to this generation. In pursuit of our goal, we analyzed the diverse responses obtained from surveys conducted with parents of students at IES Dr. Pedro Guillén. Finally, after analyzing the results, we have been able to correlate these findings in our conclusions with the objectives we set out to achieve. In conclusion, this research project employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative elements (survey) with qualitative aspects (lexical study, creation of the glossary...).
