El patrimonio cultural de Molina de Segura : análisis de recursos y estrategias de desarrollo

Abstract

El estudio del patrimonio cultural de Molina de Segura responde a la necesidad de cubrir los vacíos documentales existentes en el espacio patrimonial del municipio; este espacio cultural comprende no solo a los propios bienes patrimoniales, sino también, a la relación que mantiene la comunidad local con este conjunto de activos, y a los modelos de gestión municipal, expresados a través de iniciativas que serán determinantes para la adopción del patrimonio por parte de la sociedad. Los objetivos propuestos se alejan de planteamientos utópicos, centrándose en todo momento en contribuir, de una forma práctica y eficiente, en la construcción de memoria, en mejorar la relación entre la comunidad local y su patrimonio, y en aportar elementos que ayuden a consolidar la cultura y la formación entre los ciudadanos. Con el primer objetivo se aporta al municipio una revisión actualizada de bienes patrimoniales, centrada principalmente en aquellos escasamente estudiados, donde se incluyen tanto elementos no catalogados como activos desaparecidos, importantes por su valioso aporte documental para reconstruir segmentos de la historia local; también los bienes en peligro, los cuales, por su modernidad o por estar considerados como bienes de uso, corren el riesgo de desaparecer o de ser transformados sin atender a su valor histórico. El siguiente objetivo planteado está en relación con el generalizado desconocimiento que existe por parte de las instituciones, sobre qué conocen y cómo piensan los distintos sectores de la población acerca del patrimonio de su localidad. Profundizar en este conocimiento ayudaría a mejorar las actuaciones encaminadas a integrar el patrimonio y la cultura en la sociedad. Una vez tratados estos objetivos iniciales, se estudian y analizan los modelos de gestión llevados a cabo por las instituciones y corporaciones, para tratar de mejorar y de hacer más efectiva la relación entre los individuos y el conjunto del patrimonio local. Tras plantear este conjunto de objetivos, se diseña un proceso metodológico destinado a conformar un área de estudio, un cronograma y unos procedimientos, los cuales habrán de permitir llevar a cabo el trabajo de la forma más completa, eficiente y efectiva posible. La estructura metodológica ha respondido al estudio por contenidos (objeto patrimonial, relación comunidad-patrimonio, y gestión de los recursos). Como espacios temáticos considerados para definir el marco de estudio, se realizó inicialmente un trabajo exploratorio de contenidos. Seguidamente se procedió a la revisión del patrimonio local (catalogado y protegido, no catalogado, desaparecido, y patrimonio en peligro). Una vez conformado este marco donde se incluye el objeto patrimonial, se realizó el estudio social mediante entrevistas y encuestas. Seguidamente, con los resultados de estas etapas iniciales, se planteó una fase propositiva, destinada a potenciar tanto el conocimiento del patrimonio local por parte de los vecinos, como la puesta en valor del municipio dentro de los circuitos culturales comarcales y regionales. Como parte final de este estudio, las conclusiones han servido para evaluar y poner de relieve el trabajo y sus aportaciones. Los resultados de la tesis, en relación con los objetivos propuestos, resultan enteramente satisfactorios. La utilidad y practicidad del trabajo, tanto para los estudiosos de la materia, como para los gestores locales, e incluso para la propia comunidad, resultan evidentes por los objetivos logrados; esto se observa a través del incremento del registro de bienes locales; del inicio de una dinámica que permite a las instituciones conocer qué y cómo piensan los miembros de su comunidad sobre el patrimonio local, y el planteamiento de nuevas perspectivas para hacer más eficiente la gestión de los recursos desde el doble planteamiento: individuo-patrimonio, y proyección del municipio más allá de su ámbito local.

The study of the cultural heritage of Molina de Segura responds to the need to cover existing documentary gaps in the heritage space of the municipality; This cultural space includes not only the heritage assets themselves, but also the relationship that the local community maintains with this set of assets, and the municipal management models, expressed through initiatives that will be decisive for the adoption of heritage by part of society. The proposed objectives move away from utopian approaches, focusing at all times on contributing, in a practical and efficient way, to the construction of memory, improving the relationship between the local community and its heritage, and providing elements that help consolidate the culture and training among citizens. With the first objective, an updated review of heritage assets is provided to the municipality, focused mainly on those that have been poorly studied, which include both uncatalogued elements; missing assets, important for their valuable documentary contribution to reconstruct segments of local history, and assets in danger, which, due to their modernity or because they are considered as used goods, run the risk of disappearing or being transformed without attending to their purpose. historical value. The next objective raised is in relation to the widespread lack of knowledge that exists on the part of the institutions, about what they know and how the different sectors of the population think about the heritage of their locality. Deepening this knowledge would help improve actions aimed at integrating heritage and culture into society. Once these initial objectives have been addressed, the management models carried out by institutions and corporations are studied and analyzed, to try to improve and make more effective the relationship between individuals and the entire local heritage. After proposing this set of objectives, a methodological process is designed to form a study area, a schedule and procedures, which will allow the work to be carried out in the most complete, efficient and effective way possible. The methodological structure has responded to the study by content (heritage object, community-heritage relationship, and resource management). As thematic spaces considered to define the study framework, exploratory work on content was initially carried out. The local heritage was then reviewed (listed and protected, unlisted, missing and heritage in danger). Once this framework was formed where the heritage object is included, the social study was carried out through interviews and surveys. Next, with the results of these initial stages, a propositional phase was proposed, aimed at enhancing both the knowledge of the local heritage on the part of the neighbors, and the enhancement of the municipality within the regional and regional cultural circuits. As a final part of this summary, the conclusions will serve to evaluate and highlight the work and its contributions. The results of the thesis, in relation to the proposed objectives, are entirely satisfactory. The usefulness and practicality of the work, both for scholars of the subject, as well as for local managers, and even for the community itself, are evident from the objectives achieved; This is observed through the increase in the registration of local assets; of the beginning of a dynamic that allows institutions to know what and how the members of their community think about local heritage, and the approach of new perspectives to make the management of resources more efficient from the double approach: individual-heritage, and projection of the municipality beyond its local area.
