La Retórica del Elogio : el subgénero híbrido o la anfilaudatio. Píndaro, Aristóteles y Fray Luis de León.

Abstract

Tras el análisis de tres odas de Píndaro, Aristóteles y Fray Luis de León que comparten una misma estructura bipartita que combina un himno y un encomio, se propone un nuevo subgénero híbrido dentro del género epidíctico de la laudatio, que, por aunar una doble loa, a una divinidad y a un mortal, hemos dado en llamar la anfilaudatio.

After analysing three odes by Pindar, Aristotle and Fray Luis de León that share the same bipartite structure combining a hymn and an encomium, we propose a new hybrid sub-genre within the epidictic genre of laudatio, which, because it combines a double praise, to a divinity and to a mortal, we have come to call the anfilaudatio.
