| Resumen: | A total of 98 intra-oral piercings were studied. Gingival recessions were observed in 23 cases (23.5%), mostly in the mandibular incisor area. Damage to the dental structure occurred in 13 cases (13.3%). It is therefore necessary to inform the patient of the risk to oral health of intra-oral piercings. |
