In this paper we try to get into the words of sense Christian employing Lactantius through the analysis of the different loans and terms from a lexical and semantic point of view. For this purpose we have specified what are the Christian and we have compared its use with other authors of Christian Latin literature as S. Augustine. We have followed as a basis the Catholic School of Nijmegen, which differed between semantic and Lexicological christianities. After the analysis of various words that neologisms which express notions Christian are much less numerous than the terms from the common latin have been charged with a Christian sense. Surely, by way of conclusion, many of the elements of the Christian language, including those relating to the vulgar language, are acquired in the 4th century in the literary language of the works of Lactantius. |
