Mapeo de las corrientes de investigación sobre Chat GPT aplicadas a la educación

Abstract

La Inteligencia Artificial (IA) es una de las tecnologías más revolucionarias de nuestro tiempo y su aplicación en el campo de la educación está siendo objeto de estudio e investigación desde hace relativamente pocos años. La IA ofrece y ofrecerá un gran potencial para mejorar la calidad, la eficiencia de la educación, y su impacto en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje es cada vez más evidente. Este estudio proporciona hallazgos valiosos para aquellas personas que, en el mundo académico, la enseñanza y la formulación de políticas buscan incorporar la inteligencia artificial, en especial Chat GPT, en la educación. Mediante un análisis bibliométrico de trabajos científicos publicados e indexados en la base de datos SCOPUS, se han analizado 317 publicaciones sobre Chat GPT, filtrándose por su publicación en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales y en el de las Artes y Humanidades, de las 1.078 existentes en los diferentes ámbitos de estudio. Los resultados muestran que es un campo de estudio en constante expansión y crecimiento. Su uso en áreas como la enseñanza, la ética y la traducción automática resaltan por su adaptabilidad, así como su significativo impacto en entornos educativos.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most revolutionary technologies of our time and its application in education has been the subject of study and research for relatively few years. AI offers and will offer great potential to improve the quality and efficiency of education, and its impact on teaching and learning is increasingly evident. This study provides valuable and interesting findings for those in Institutes and Universities, and policymaking seeking to incorporate artificial intelligence, especially Chat GPT, into education. Through a bibliometric analysis of scientific works published and indexed in the SCOPUS database, 317 publications on Chat GPT have been analyzed, filtering by their publication in the field of Social Sciences and in the Arts and Humanities, between the 1.078 existing in the different fields of study. The results show that it is a field of study in constant expansion and growth. Its use in areas such as teaching, ethics and machine translation stands out for its adaptability, as well as its significant impact in educational environments.
