La narrativa de las medallas sobre la guerra del Donbás y la anexión de Crimea.

Abstract

Se estudian las medallas relativas a la guerra del Donbás y la anexión de Crimea, acuñadas entre abril de 2014 y febrero de 2022, por Ucrania, la Federación Rusa y las autoproclamadas repúblicas de Donetsk y Lugansk. Se han identificado siete temas que definen la narrativa de los tres actores involucrados en los dos conflictos. Después de analizar los recursos y elementos compositivos empleados para representar cada tema, estos han sido contextualizados a partir de los datos y la información proporcionados por la literatura académica sobre los antecedentes y desarrollo de ambos conflictos.

The medals related to the Donbas war and the annexation of Crimea, minted between April 2014 and February 2022, by Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk republics are studied. Seven themes have been identified that define the narrative of the three actors involved in the two conflicts. After analyzing the resources and compositional elements used to represent each theme, they have been contextualized based on the data and information provided by the academic literature on the background and development of both conflicts.
