Arte sonoro e interactivo: la experiencia de huéspedes y anfitriones en las residencias artísticas @twIn_sonora 2016.

Abstract

En este capítulo encontraremos una contextualización de las residen-cias artísticas virtuales en Twitter mostrando qué se ha hecho hasta ahora en este campo. Asimismo se presentará el proyecto Virtual Art Residencies @twIn_sonora cuya primera edición se analizará críticamente estableciendo sus puntos fuertes y débiles. Para esto último, y con el fin de obtener datos de la experiencia que incluyan tanto la percepción de la entidad organizado-ra como la de los participantes, se han diseñado unas encuestas de pregun-tas abiertas que han sido respondidas por la directora del Festival IN-SONORA y por los cuatro artistas seleccionados en la primera convocato-ria. Del análisis de los datos derivados, se propone una serie de medidas de mejora aplicables a futuras ediciones que potencien el valor y el impacto de las residencias y que puedan servir de ayuda y guía para aquellas entidades que quieran iniciar una residencia de características similares.

In this chapter we will find a contextualisation of virtual art residencies on Twitter, showing what has been done so far in this field. We will also present the Virtual Art Residencies @twIn_sonora project, the first edition of which will be critically analysed, establishing its strengths and weaknesses. For the latter, and in order to obtain data on the experience that includes both the perception of the organising entity and that of the participants, open-ended questionnaires have been designed and answered by the director of the IN-SONORA Festival and by the four artists selected in the first edition. From the analysis of the derived data, a series of measures for improvement are proposed for future editions that will enhance the value and impact of the residencies and that can serve as help and guidance for those entities that wish to initiate a residency with similar characteristics.
