Estudio socioestilístico de la variación lingüística de seis políticas andaluzas durante sus intervenciones públicas y políticas.

Abstract

En esta investigación se lleva a cabo un estudio socioestilístico sobre la variación lingüística en diferentes contextos en el habla de seis políticas andaluzas: Susana Díaz, María Jesús Montero, Carmen Calvo, María Teresa Jiménez-Becerril, María José García-Pelayo y Carolina España. Observaremos si estas personalidades políticas presentan, o no, variación lingüística para conocer cuáles son los factores lingüísticos y extralingüísticos que marcan su habla. Por un lado, examinaremos su comportamiento lingüístico cuando entran en contacto con el español estándar; y, por otro, analizaremos sus intervenciones en Andalucía. Asimismo, consideraremos sus militancias políticas y el tipo de contexto discursivo. Nuestros resultados comprueban que, efectivamente, existen variaciones lingüísticas aplicadas a distintos contextos en las intervenciones de estas políticas; no obstante, sigue prevaleciendo una notable convergencia general hacia el español normativo, a pesar del predominio de las realizaciones meridionales en algunos fenómenos lingüísticos concretos.

This research presents a socio-stylistic study on linguistic variation applied to different contexts in the speech of six female Andalusian politicians: Susana Díaz, María Jesús Montero, Carmen Calvo, María Teresa Jiménez-Becerril, María José García-Pelayo and Carolina España. We will observe whether or not the speech of these politicians presents linguistic variation, and we will determine which linguistic and extralinguistic factors shape their way of speaking. Firstly, we will examine their linguistic behaviour when they interact with standard Spanish. Secondly, we will analyze their political speeches in Andalusia. We will also consider their political affiliation and the type of discursive context. Our results show that there are linguistic variations applied to different contexts in the speech of these female politicians. Nevertheless, there still prevails a convergence towards the use of standard Spanish, despite the predominance of southern Spanish realizations in some specific linguistic phenomena.
