There are two types of CEE with a very different goals. On the one hand, there are CEE whose objective is the search for a profit, like any other mercantile company, and on the other, CEE whose purpose is to provide employment to those who have much more difficult access to the labor market. This study, after studying the annual accounts of the CEE that have their headquarters in the Comunidad Autonóma de la Región de Murcia (CARM), analyzes the profitability obtained by these CEE, to determine whether or not there are differences depending on the objective pursued. For this, a review of the existing background in this regard has been carried out and subsequently, an empirical study has been carried out analyzing the economic data of the CARM’s CEE, and it can be concluded that this disparity of objectives has not made a difference in profitability. obtained by these entities. |
