Resumen: The primary aim of the present study was to build a questionnaire to know the degree to which the deans of the faculties of physical education and sports sciences practice transformational leadership from the standpoint of their teachers. The teachers of the faculties of physical education and sports sciences in the universities of the Kurdistan region constituted the research community for the present study. A total of 192 teachers were selected as sample for the study. Out of 192, 18 teachers were recruited as participants for conducting a pilot trial. A total of 174 teachers were recruited for the primary experiment. In the present study, statistical analysis was done using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) by computing arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t test. The results were presented, analyzed and discussed through the procedures carried out by the researcher to design the questionnaire.
