La Belgique sous le régime français (1795-1814): situation sociopolitique et identitaire; évolution (socio)linguistique; spécificités culturelles et littéraires.

Abstract

Resumen: Desde 1795 hasta 1814, los territorios que formarían Bélgica a partir de 1830 fueron anexionados por Francia. En la primera parte de este artículo, analizamos la situación sociopolítica e identitaria de estos “departamentos reunidos” durante esas dos décadas; en la segunda parte, examinamos su evolución (socio)lingüística bajo el régimen francés; en la tercera parte, estudiamos las peculiaridades culturales y literarias de esta “Bélgica francesa” a partir de algunas de sus figuras más emblemáticas.

Abstract: From 1795 to 1814, the territories that will form Belgium from 1830 were annexed by France. In the first part of this article, we analyse the sociopolitical and identity situation of these “unified countries” throughout these two decades; in the second part, we examine its sociolinguistic evolution under the French regime; in the third part, we study the cultural and literary features of this “French Belgium” starting from some of the most important intellectuals.
