Identificación de actores sociales y evaluación de impactos de las actividades turístico-recreativas sobre el medio natural en el sector serrano sur de Tandil, Argentina

Abstract

El uso de espacios naturales para actividades turístico - recreativas se realiza desde hace décadas, pero la posmodernidad ha impulsado fuertemente esta situación. Estas actividades desarrolladas durante lapsos prolongados generan impactos sobre la geodiversidad y biodiversidad local. Considerando esto, el objetivo del trabajo es identificar los actores sociales que practican actividades turístico-recreativas y deportivas en el espacio serrano sur de Tandil (Argentina), y cuáles son sus actitudes y comportamientos, para evaluar los potenciales efectos sobre la geodiversidad y biodiversidad. Para lograr esto se recurrió a fuentes secundarias, a encuestas y entrevistas. Como resultado es posible decir que, si bien existe un interés y conciencia respecto a los potenciales impactos sobre el medio, la falta de planificación, de estudios y análisis específicos sobre las condiciones de uso, sumado al aumento en el número de visitantes puede provocar efectos negativos sobre el patrimonio natural.

The use of natural spaces for tourism and recreational activities has been going on for decades, but post -modernity has given a strong impetus to this situation. These activities carried out over long periods of t ime generate impacts on local ge odiversity and biodiversity. Considering this, the aim of the study is to identify the social actors who practice tourist -recreational and sporting activities in the southern mountainous area of Tandil ( Argentina), and their attitudes and behaviours, in or der to assess the potential effects on geodiversity and biodiversity. To achieve this, secondary sources, surveys and interviews were used. As a result, it is possible to say that although there is interest and awareness of the potential impacts on the environment, the lack of planning, studies and specific analysis of the conditions of use, together with the increase in the number of visitors, can have negative effects on the natural heritage.
