Memorias sobre mujeres en la Guerra de Malvinas: hacia un estado del discurso social (2014-2019).

Abstract

Este artículo examina el proceso de surgimiento de memorias nuevas sobre la Guerra de Malvinas (1982) poniendo a prueba la validez de la Teoría del Discurso Social para la indagación de las relaciones entre discursos y memorias. Especialmente, se intenta reconstruir un estado del discurso social (EDS) acerca de la participación de mujeres en la contienda. Para ello, se caracteriza la toponimia discursiva del período 2014-2019, a partir de un relevamiento de gran variedad de publicaciones sobre el tema. Después de una descripción cuantitativa, se analiza los discursos cualitativamente para identificar las estrategias de puesta en memoria de este EDS. La hipótesis es que hay una tensión entre una memoria laudatoria y una memoria combativa. Mientras la primera clausura las fricciones, la segunda es procesual y expone las demandas de distintas mujeres.

t: This paper studies the process of emergence of new memories about the Malvinas War (1982), testing the validity of the Theory of Social Discourse in order to analyse the relationship between discourses and memories. Especially, an attempt is made to reconstruct the state of social discourse (SSD) on Malvinas female veterans. For this purpose, the discursive toponymy of the period 2014-2019 is characterized, based on a survey of a great variety of publications on the subject. After doing a quantitative description, the discourses are analyzed qualitatively to identify the strategies of ‘putting in memory’ of this SSD. The hypothesis is that there is a tension between a laudatory memory and a combative one. While the former closes the frictions, the latter is processual and exposes the demands of different women.
