Ensayo, metalenguaje y narración en "Mapa" (2012) de León Siminiani.

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta un análisis de Mapa (León Siminiani, 2012) partiendo de las propiedades del texto ensayístico estipuladas y homologadas desde la teoría literaria. Se busca identificar los mecanismos y las técnicas concretas que la han convertido en emblema de renovación dentro del campo de la no ficción en el contexto del cine español contemporáneo. Uno de los puntos más significativos es el proceso de hacerse la obra como estrategia narrativa metalingüística: un rasgo poco frecuente dentro de las piezas catalogadas en la categoría de ensayo. Al margen de que cada vez sea más inevitable que la teoría sobre el ensayo audiovisual gire en torno al nuevo documental, el estudio de Mapa permite deducir que la categoría documental es independiente de la categoría ensayística y ratifica que su forma no depende de las implicaciones factuales, sino de la vivencia autoral. Esta investigación se inscribe en el ámbito del proyecto “El ensayo en el audiovisual español contemporáneo” (Ref. CSO2015-66749-P), financiado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional dentro del programa estatal de Fomento de la Investigación Científica y Técnica de Excelencia.

This work presents an analysis of Mapa (León Siminiani, 2012) based on the properties of the essay text stipulated and homologated from literary theory. It seeks to identify the specific mechanisms and techniques that have made it an emblem of renewal within the field of non-fiction in the context of contemporary Spanish cinema. One of the most significant points is the process of making the work as a metalinguistic narrative strategy: a rare feature within the pieces cataloged in the essay category. Apart from the fact that it is increasingly inevitable that the theory about the audiovisual essay revolves around the new documentary, the study of Mapa allows us to deduce that the documentary category is independent of the essay category and confirms that its form does not depend on the factual implications, but from the author's experience. This research is part of the project "The essay in contemporary Spanish audiovisual" (Ref.
