La nueva novela policíaca como fenómeno global: influencias entre cine, televisión y literatura.

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende entender la novela policíaca más reciente (finales del siglo XX y primeras décadas del XXI) como un fenómeno global, multidisciplinar e interrelacionado. Entre las características novedosas del género en nuestro país destaca una concepción del detective inédita. Este pertenece ahora a un cuerpo de seguridad oficial, trabaja con un compañero formando ambos una pareja protagonista y su vida privada, familiar y social tiene mucha más importancia en la narración que en la tradición precedente. Además, la dimensión global de temas, asuntos, estructuras y fórmulas establece nexos entre escritores de distintos países y también con otras artes, como el cine o la televisión. En relación a esas influencias globales y al continuo flujo entre literatura y pantalla se analiza, en primer lugar, la dimensión geográfica y las conexiones entre las manifestaciones literarias de distintos países europeos y con América. En segundo lugar, se atiende la relación entre el cine y la novela negra haciendo un recorrido temporal desde Alfred Hitchcock hasta nuestros días. Por último, se contempla el vínculo entre este género y las series de televisión.

This paper try to explain the new police novel (written at the end of the 20th century and first decades of the 21st) as a global, multidisciplinary and interrelated movement. One of the characteristics of the new police novel in our country is a new conception of the detective. He now works in an official security organism, he has a partner forming both a leading couple and their private, family and social life is more important in the narrative than in the previous tradition. In addition, the global dimension of themes, structures and methods establishes links between writers from different countries and also with other arts, such as cinema or TV. In relation to these global influences and the continuous connection between literature and screen, it’s analyze first the geographical dimension and the connections between the literary manifestations of different European countries and with America. Secondly, it is explained the relationship between cinema and the black novel, making a route from Alfred Hitchcock to the present day. Finally, the link between this genre and the TV series is contemplated.
