Mesa 6. Tradición en crisis.-Crisis y superación del postmodernismo

Abstract

Resumen: El título de este congreso invita a interrogarnos acerca del papel que le cabe desempeñar a la filosofía en relación con el problema de nuestro tiempo, con la compleja crisis cultural de este comienzo del siglo XXI. Si se quiere contestar a esta cuestión tendremos previamente que aclarar, y este es el propósito de este trabajo, si la filosofía, después de la dirección que tomó en la denominada postmodernidad, se encuentra en condiciones de gestionar o solucionar el problema de esa gran crisis que nos circunda.

Abstract: The Congress title is an invitation to question the role that Philosophy must play when facing the defining issue of our era the complex cultural crisis in the beginning of 21st century. To answer this question, we must first make clear whether Philosophy, after entering in the so-called Postmodernity, is able to manage or solve the problem posed by this huge crisis we are inmersed in. Such explanation is the purpose of this paper.
