Abstract
Tras la reciente detección de Aedes albopictus (Skuse, 1894) en el
suroeste de Francia, el muestreo de vigilancia entomológica, realizado
en el País Vasco desde el año 2013, ha identificado dos
trampas positivas en Irún (Guipúzcoa). Se discute acerca de las diferencias
en las condiciones ambientales, que afectarían a su implantación
y control, respecto a las poblaciones del Levante espa-
ñol. También se citan por primera vez la especies Culex hortensis
Ficalbi, 1889 y Culiseta longiareolata (Macquart, 1838) para el País
Vasco y la provincia de Guipúzcoa. También se cita por primera
vez a Cx. pipiens Linnaeus, 1758 en la provincia de Guipúzcoa.
Abstract After the recent detection of Aedes albopictus (Skuse, 1894) in Southwestern France, the entomological surveillance in the Basque Country, since 2013, has found two positive traps in Irun (Guipuzkoa). The differences in environmental conditions, which could influence its establishment, between this area and the Spanish Levante populations are discussed. Also, this is the first record of Culex hortensis Ficalbi, 1889 and Culiseta longiareolata (Macquart, 1838) for the Basque Country and the Guipuzkoa province. Also it is the first record of Cx. pipiens Linnaeus, 1758 for the Guipuzkoa province.
