El presente artículo lleva a cabo una revisión his toriográfica sobre la cuestión del millarés, lo más completa y rigurosa posible. Se an alizan las distintas aportaciones que han realizado los diferentes autores que han tratado el tema, desde las primeras publicaciones en el siglo XVIII, hasta nuestros días. Ello permitirá un a actualización del conocimiento que tenemos hasta la fecha de esta importante moneda.
This article offers a systematic and thorough exam ination of the historiography of the coinage known as “millares”. It covers the various authors who have analyzed and studied the millarés from the eighteenth century to the present . That will bring up to date our knowledge about this important coin.
