Abstract
Algunos años después de redactar esta obra, cuya traducción íntegra se publica por primera vez, Ibn ʿArabī escribió sobre su contenido: «este es uno de los mejores consejos que puedo darte». El Libro del descenso de los astros es, en efecto, una aclaración del camino para llegar a Allah, pero esta aclaración tiene en cuenta los diferentes grados en los que se pueden encontrar aquellos que lo han emprendido o deseen emprenderlo. Por eso, la obra se articula en tres grados, a su vez subdivididos en tres esferas, cuyo contenido es tanto más profundo y críptico cuanto más elevado es el grado de aquel a quien se dirige.
Abstract: Some years after writing this work, of which a full translation is published for the first time, Ibn ʿArabī wrote about its contents: “this is among the greatest advice I can give you”. The Book of the Twilight of the Stars is indeed a clarification of the path to Allah, but this clarification takes into account the different degrees in which those who have undertaken it or wish to undertake it may find themselves. This is why the work is divided into three grades, which in turn are divided into three spheres, whose content is all the more profound and cryptic the higher the grade of the one to whom it is addressed.
Riassunto: Alcuni anni dopo aver redatto quest’opera, di cui per la prima volta viene pubblicata una traduzi-one integrale, Ibn ʿArabī scrisse riguardo al suo contenuto: “questo è tra i più grandi consigli che ti posso dare”. IlLibro dei ponenti delle stelle è in effetti un chiarimento della via per arrivare ad Allah, ma questo chiarimento tiene conto dei differenti gradi in cui si possono trovare coloro che l’hanno intrapresa o che vogliono intrapren-derla. Per questo l’opera è articolata in tre gradi, a loro volta suddivise in tre sfere, il cui contenuto è tanto più profondo e criptico quanto più è elevato il grado di colui a cui è rivolto.
