Abstract
Partiendo del proceso de formación de las Comunidades Europeas, se
consideran sus raíces históricas: los intentos y los fracasos de la construcción
de Europa como unidad política y su unidad cultural, particularmente en la
ciencia jurídica, así como el papel de la Universidad en la construcción de la
nueva Europa.
The historical roots of the European Communities are condered, starting
from the process oftheir formation: the failures and attempts to build Europe
as a political unity and its cultural uniry, particulary in the juridical science,
together with the role of the University in the building of the new Europe.
