dc.description.abstract	En aquest treball es posa de manifest la importància de l’obra geomètrica de Juan de Alcega, dedicada a una parcel·la concreta de l’activitat artesanal: la sastreria. Un dels trets més destacables del primer llibre espanyol imprès sobre aquesta temàtica és l’ús de la terminologia metrològica, característica essencial en els tractats renaixentistes que conformen el grup de geometries pràctiques. En concret, ens centrarem en l’anàlisi dels aspectes lexicosemàntics del mot vara, així com dels processos de terminologització que experimenten els mots media, tercia, cuarta, sexma, ochava i dozavo, unitats divisòries d’aquesta mesura.	es
dc.description.abstract	In this work we intend to show the importance of the geometric book of Juan de Alcega, that is dedicated to a particular aspect of the handicraft activity: sartorial industry. The use of metrological terminology is the most important feature of the first Spanish book about this subject, as is an essential characteristic of Renaissance treaties relating to applied geometry. In particular, we focus on the analysis of lexical and semantic aspects of the term vara, and the processes of terminologization, experienced by the words media, tercia, cuarta, sexma, ochava and dozavo, divisors of that measure.	es
