Abstract
Este artículo analiza las cartas que Vicente
Aleixandre dirigió de 1960 a 1983 a Jacques Comincioli. Inédito hasta la fecha, el
intercambio, transcrito íntegramente aquí, se
origina en la propuesta del hispanista suizo
de traducir al francés Historia del corazón
(1954). La correspondencia hace memoria
de los avatares de este proyecto y se esboza
así una instantánea del poemario abriéndose paso en el mercado francófono durante el
franquismo. La interpretación de este epistolario se enriquece a la luz de otros epistolarios aleixandrinos o del epistolario de otros
miembros de su generación que se cartearon
con jóvenes hispanistas durante el franquismo.
This article analyses the letters that Vicente Aleixandre wrote from 1960 to 1983 to Jacques Comincioli. Unpublished to date and transcribed in full here, the exchange originated in the proposal of the Swiss Hispanist to translate Historia del corazón (1954) into French. The correspondence recounts the vicissitudes of this project and in doing so sketches a snapshot of the poetry collection making its way into the French literary market during Franco’s regime. The interpretation of this collection of letters is enriched in the light of other collections of Aleixandre’s letters or the letters of other members of his generation who corresponded with young Hispanists during Franco’s regime.
