Abstract
En el presente escrito estudiaremos el proceso del mapeo de los territorios y las principales consecuencias políticas que ello comporta. Integraremos en el concepto mapa que propone Estrella de Diego, el canal de Jesús Ibáñez y los espacios liso y estriado de Deleuze y Guattari. A continuación, extraeremos cuatro funciones en el proceso de mapeo: atribución, apropiación, distribución y expropiación. Mediante tres significativas obras de arte contemporáneas, reflexionaremos sobre el problema del colonialismo, el hambre y el racismo. Finalmente, en las conclusiones, usaremos el episodio de los levellers en Inglaterra como ejemplo de vía subversiva, de lucha contra el dominio de los mapas sobre los territorios.
Abstract: In this paper we will study the process of mapping territories and the main political consequences it entails. We will integrate in the map concept proposed by Estrella de Diego, the channel of Jesús Ibáñez and the smooth and striated spaces of Deleuze and Guattari. Then, we will extract four functions in the mapping process: attribution, appropriation, distribution and expropriation. Through three significant contemporary artworks, we will reflect on the problem of colonialism, hunger and racism. Finally, in the conclusions, we will use the episode of the levellers in England as an example of a subversive way to fight against the domination of maps over territories.
