Abstract: In the present article We realize a critical reading of different theoretical positions regarding to the possibility —or not— of a materialistic philosophy. In order to do We try to circumscribe the specificity of a theoretical practice that realizes other practices (theoretical or not) without reducing them to a homogeneous language or to explain them from a metalanguage. In this tour We present different perspectives that will allow us to present our own point of view concerning the possibility —or not— of a philosophical practice of such a nature.es
