El presente trabajo explora las nociones de ejemplo y paradigma en sus dimensiones epistemológica y ético-política, a la luz de la problemática aris-totélica sobre el razonamiento mediante ejemplos, en los trabajos de Michel Foucault y Giorgio Agamben. Concluye sosteniendo que nos encontramos ante dos arqueologías del ejemplo que, más allá de sus puntos de contacto, siguen caminos diferentes
