Abstract
Umberto Eco realizó una distinción entre intentio
auctoris (intención del autor), intentio operis
(intención de la obra) e intentio lectoris (intención
del lector). En los casos en que se producen
relaciones de intertextualidad o de hipertextualidad
entre varias obras, la intención del autor y la
intención de la obra se pueden desdoblar en una
intención manifiesta y en una intención encubierta.
En este trabajo se ejemplifica dicha posibilidad
con las obras de Cervantes y de Avellaneda.
Umberto Eco made a distinction between intentio auctoris, intentio operis and intentio lectoris. If there are relationships of intertextuality or hypertextuality between several pieces of work, the intention of the author and the work itself can be divided into overt and covert intention. In this paper such possibility is exemplified using the works of Cervantes and Avellaneda.
