Description
Abstract
deportivos
Marca
,
As
,
Sport
y
Mundo deportivo
,
o qué alomorfo
es más común (
–
ra
o
–
se
)
.
modo subjuntivo
This paper deal s with the state of the question regarding the use of the subjunctive in Spanish, as well as with its different meanings in the headlines of digital sport journalism. It is in the sub - genre of the report where its presence is mostly felt, particularly in t he quotes report. In this respect, it can be claimed that its use is inextricably linked to direct speech. Finally, it should be highlighted that certain argumentative operators such as quizá or ojalá , as well as certain contextual relationships of the sub junctive in set expressions such as puede que or no creo que , among others, influence the value of the subjunctive. The main objective is to determine the pragmatic values of the Spanish subjunctive mode in the headlines of the sports newspapers Marca , As , Sport and Mundo Deportivo in its digital version, as well as other secondary parameters such as its frequency of appearance in each subgenre, which diary does more use in this way in their headlines, what time is repeated more in general in sports journali sm and in particular in each subgenre, or which allomorph is more common ( - ra or - se ). For this, the methodology will be to perform a pragmalinguistic analysis based on a corpus of 300 headlines that add up to 308 verbs in subjunctive mode
