Abstract
La RSC representa un desafío para todos los actores sociales del sistema ya que supone organizar las relaciones económicas y sociales a unos fines superiores en el ámbito de las empresas que busque mejorar las relaciones sociales, económicas y medioambientales para ir de la mera retórica a la sostenibilidad real. Si aplicamos todo esto a la realidad socio-económica actual vemos que una de las consecuencias de la globalización ha sido la aparición de nuevos actores, como las organizaciones no gubernamentales, las corporaciones transnacionales e incluso los nuevos movimientos sociales, que han contribuido a debilitar el papel del Estado y de la empresa obligando a escuchar a los trabajadores y a los ciudadanos. En este contexto, la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) es una manifestación contemporánea del pluralismo jurídico que han favorecido un activismo “desregulador”, donde la autorregulación y la “contractualización” están en el núcleo de este nuevo orden económico privado. Es el contexto en el que asistimos a una repentina concienciación de las empresas por la defensa de los derechos económicos y sociales de los ciudadanos que, curiosamente, se traduce en una apuesta (o presión) por menos regulación y más autorregulación y donde la RSC constituye su ejemplo más evidente. -----------
Corporate Social Responsibility represents a challenge far the different actors of the system because it implies reorganize the socio-economic relations of the enterprises. Take it in account, and the relevance of the measures of social action of the enterprises, we will focus on the analysis of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, taking as a reference sorne of the definitions that have been given from the legal and international context. Next, we study the relationship between Social Policy and Corporate Social Responsibility. The paper concludes with a section where we propase the CSR as a new field of action far the social worker.
