Resumen: This paper deals with the analysis of the 35 news about reading in the Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias in 2012. The goal is to find out if new technologies are influencing the reading habits. The analysis is based on the study of the frequency rate and semantic value of a key words selection – present in the news corpus – for the object of the study. They allow observing the public discourses evolution along the period of time studied as a consequence of the new technologies development. Resumen: We all know the importance of oral and communication skills and the difficulties presented by our children and youth to make use of them.
On the other hand, we continue checking the importance of exercise textbooks or textbooks in schools. To this it is added that still too often teachers still considers these textbooks or textbooks as the main resource to organize their teaching-learning process.
We believe the textbooks or textbooks remain a very important tool for students and teachers weight. So, what these books or manuals will propose what then put into practice in the school daily.

Resumen: Within the different lessons that develop in the courses of Primary Education and Master of Teacher Education, a principal aspect is the professional competence and teacher’s noticing (Mason, 2002). Through this, the students, as future teachers, begins to interpret the teaching situations and reflects on how learning to learners in the different classrooms and subjects occurs.
One of several proposals for improving this educational look passes through the new possibilities of the Internet. In this paper we analyze some teacher’s blogs as a platform for the development of this "teacher’s noticing" and reading competence. We start from general examples of educational thinking and educational action blogs (Balagué and Zayas, 2007) to focus on teaching of language and literature and children's literature, spaces of academic reflection on literary education, reading comprehension and e-literacy.
After analysis of twenty-five models we conclude that all these spaces allow us to develop the professional noticing of students to teachers of different educational stages. Resumen: The new technologies of information, the development of the media and the massive presence of multimedia devices have brought a renewal of the traditional concept of literacy. Multimodality in the media, in the dissemination of knowledge and the communication formats have brought a change in the system of reception of media objects and each of its integral elements. This multimodal environment is part of the daily life of students who access through a scenario of screens and images across a virtual environment in which both textual and visual are integrated as an informational continuum that requires to users new interpretation skills. And, consequently, a new approach to media literacy should be the subject of attention from educators.
Media literacy implies the need to address new visual skills, new reading skills and especially new skills for integration and analysis, among those who cannot be set aside on the critical apparatus necessary. This paper discusses the content of these skills, some critical tools for multimodal approach speech as well as the role the four substrata of discourse, design, production and distribution, typical of Critical Analysis of Multimodal Discourse are analysed.2016-01-01T00:00:00Z
