    Elección de los centros educativos para prácticas según el perfil del estudiante de la ULE

    The training of future teachers, whether in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education, requires a period of in-person practical training at centres recognised as training centres. The educational centres where these placements can be carried out have their own characteristics depending on whether they are Early Childhood and Primary Education Centres (CEIP), Compulsory Education Centres (CEO), Subsidised Centres (CC), Private Schools (CPr) or Rural School Groups (CRA), as well as being located in very different areas. The aim of this study is to identify the factors that relate the characteristics of the students to the type of centre chosen, in order to obtain a preliminary list of schools in line with the characteristics of the student body and their evolution over time. To this end, 3021 teaching placements made at the Faculty of Education of the ULE between the 2016-2017 and 2024-2025 academic years are analysed, using data on both the chosen school (mainly type and location) and the students who choose them (gender, age, academic year, entrance exam score, average academic record at the time of choosing the school, family address, address during the academic year, etc.). The results show that students with higher grades prefer to do their teaching practice in CEIPs and do not choose the type of school based on its distance from their usual place of residence.

    ¿Facultad de educación y de Formación del Profesorado o Escuelas Universitarias de Magisterio? : reflexiones para una planificación coherente

    El artículo defiende la necesidad de impartir la formación del profesorado en Facultades de Educación. Donde estas facultades no existieran, deberían crearse. Se parte de una protesta por la amenaza ministerial de convertir a las actuales Escuelas Universitarias de Magisterio poco más que en institutos de segunda enseñanza, rebajando su categoría de universitarias, al conformarse con una plantilla de profesores sin licenciatura. Se describen las características del aprendizaje profesional, siguiendo las sugerencias del profesor Schon y se derivan consecuencias relativas a la naturaleza de la institución formadora, a la categoría de su profesorado, a las enseñanzas o titulaciones, a la duración de los estudios y, finalmente se propone un Prácticum cuyas fases, objetivos, módulos, créditos, procedimientos y etapas o cursos se insinúan en esquema.
