    Un palimpsesto indeseado en la obra literaria de Juan Benet: Julio Cortázar y sus minúsculas pedanterías

    Se estudia la influencia de Julio Cortázar en Juan Benet, partiendo de las entrevistas hechas a este último. Este lo criticó con virulencia y superfi - cialmente pero, tras un estudio comparativo de sus respectivas obras literarias, se han advertido una serie de concomitancias entre ellos. Ambos relativizaron y descentraron los conceptos de rea - lidad, de lógica y de tiempo y sus instrumentales epistemológicos, narratológicos o lingüísticos. Lo hicieron para elevar el nivel intelectual de los lec - tores y para así poder penetrar más en lo irracio - nal, espacio de una razón «ultraperceptible» útil para nuestra evolución

    Schubert, Juan Benet y la musica de la resignación.

    The literature of Juan Benet attempts to transport the reader beyond the bounds of reason by means of the arts, and most especially in the relation that binds it to music. Following Schopenhauer and Nietzsche who considered music to be the only art capable of transmitting pure affect without any intellectual mediation, Benet seeks the limits of language and effects persistent sentence modulations with a view to accessing the music of the soul. In this respect, his essay Door of the Earth elucidates the close affliation between his work and the “music of resignation” which defnes Schubert’s later work.
